On the 28^th of June, 2018 in the educational building of the department "restaurant service" was held a meeting of the Director Svetlana Antonova and the administration of the College of tourism and with the general manager of LOTTE Hotel St.Petersburg Uwe Kunz and Norma Kirchler Kulturkontakt Austria.

LOTTE Group was named in honor of Charlotte, the protagonist of the novel by Goethe "the Sorrows of young Werther". LOTTE Hotels & Resorts is the largest hotel chain in Korea, which also has hotels in Russia: in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Samara . The company continues to grow and is looking for new ways of development and planning to enter the top three hotel brands in Asia.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss possible ways of cooperation between LOTTE Hotel St.Petersburg and the College in the next study year.

During the meeting they discussed the possibility of organizing master classes, and practices for students and teachers of the College to study international standards of hospitality.

The participants exchanged views of the necessary professional competencies of future specialists of the hotel business, language studying, organization of classes and additional courses for professional development.

Austrian guests got acquainted with the organization of the educational process in the College, looked at the laboratories and training workshops of the "restaurant service" department.
