EDUCATIONAL WEBINAR BETWEEN SAINT PETERSBURG COLLEGE OF TOURISM AND APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES AND EREVAN STATE COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES

On December 12th, 2024 the students of the Tourism and Applied technologies Department participated in the webinar dedicated to the history, culture and traditions of  Russia in the days of Alexander Pushkin. The result of the work carried out by foreign language teachers Lera Sadovskaya and Inna Shamraeva is a 30-minute video in which students are presenting the information on the sites along the last road of Alexander Pushkin. Following the virtual bus tour route which runs through Saint-Petersburg and Gatchinsky district of the Leningrad region you  will learn more about Alexander Pushkin, his parents and his famous maternal great-grandfather Abraham Hannibal. You will see the Pushkins former possessions - the village of Voskresenskoye, the Suida estate, the village Kobrino and find out where the wonderful Pushkin fairy tales originated and what Lukomorye is. 

The film was sent to our foreign partner – Yerevan State Humanitarian College (Armenia).

On Thursday, December 12th, 2024, an educational webinar was held between the students of the Tourism and Applied technologies Department of the College of Tourism and Applied Technologies, Saint-Petersburg, Russia and the students of the “Tourism and Hospitality” specialty of the Yerevan State Humanitarian College (Armenia)

Such online meetings are organized between the colleges on the basis of the Agreement on International Cooperation in order to exchange experience and improve the language skills of college students.

The event splits into two parts. Firstly, the students from different groups (126, 127, 221, 420) were involved in recording the video. Secondly, the webinar was organized.

The students of 221 group of the Tourism and Applied technologies Department prepared “My Game” – the intellectual quiz, which was successfully performed by the students of 221 group during the webinar.

Armenian students also responded and presented the information about most popular Armenian destinations. 

To sum up, the atmosphere of the webinar was joyful, fun and educational. We look forward to further International Cooperation.
